Special dedication to Dr.Yusof - Part 2

Again, back to Dr.Yusof, we had a meeting yesterday !! WOW .. so good... because regarding the issue above, my desire to tell was became true. I told that, we should have some protections from our course or ukm , or any party at least, but not none at all, for our industry training. This is because, for other colleges, private or local, they do have an attachment or letter regarding the T&C from their uni or program . To ensure, the students are given proper way of training or secure/guidelines for the company, although in the end the company does not follow , thus it might not 100% practical, yet there is black and white and we are secured .In addition,some companies just blamed our institution that we did not give them any guidance on how they manage us ... in the end ..cats fight with dogs ...


We understand, companies most of the time, want to cut cost and don't like to invest on taking interns; or they pay u less and expect u do 200% for u .If u achieve 199%, they still not satisfy; u hit 199%, u bear so much cost by own, with they socalled "high and reasonable allowance" to survive,they still said u r underperformed . But so sorry to tell, it doesn't happen for ukm food science. We have a lots of replies from food companies, Yes, they might want cheap labor. Fine, they pay , range from rm 200- 600, or none . So you decide which to go. Of course , there is no free lunch in the world , you deserve what people pay u. We did not expect or assume how good are we, how much can we do . I think we were misunderstood from the experiences given. So we thought everything will go nicely and smoothly. But in fact , it is not. Thus, I am here to tell you, the real , which is cruel and realistic, rather than I hide the cruel and showed you only the best and perfect side. Yes , there were good parts , happy and jolly . But there were tears, desperate and fed up too. Please consider too .. not to be too positive , yet not to be too negative .. There is pros & cons , u gotta find out the equivalent point..

For me, i think that the industry not only providing a job,but also being responsible in giving a platform for interns and as the non-formal educators.

Yes, my practical had passed. But there are juniors, juniors of juniors, maybe some day , ur cousin , ur siblings, ur niece, ur nephew or ur kids? I just want to be slight responsible from part of the course. And it is so great , there is someone who works on it, listen to us. And we trust on him too.

Sometimes, we are right, yet we cannot fight for it. That's why we never can improved. That is our attitude.

It may takes time to change, or can't change. But we appreciate the hard work,the passion, the enthusiasm. No one will do it,unless you are volunteer.
